Where else would the county call you up and ask why you're paying property taxes?  I thought we had used up all of Larry's veteran's exemptions and was told "Oh no honey, they changed that. They're good forever now."
Thank you assessor lady for taking the time. 

It isn't really even about the money so much as that
people here do things like that.

RECIPE:

*adopt 1 hyper-active (but sweet) border collie 

from your local shelter

*buy 1 36 ounce pkg of Nestle's Semi-Sweet Morsels

and leave them on the kitchen counter 

*look away or leave the room

*return to the kitchen and proceed to call your veterinarian even though you know that they closed 15 minutes ago

*call your (too expensive) back-up vet who still happens to be open

*rush vomiting and seizing dog to town

*return 12 hours later to an $800 bill and a dog bouncing around like nothing happened
