Such a sweet turtle! You know the turtle is very important to the Ojibwe. It was the turtle that put some earth on his back to grow into land after the great flood. North America is called Turtle Island.
What a beautiful story. I wish we could change the continent's official name to Turtle Island. That would be cool! :)
