My First Try...... All Vision and No Technique

We're going to hike up the mountain today
and see if any of the wildflowers have survived all of this rain.

So, with any luck I'll have some pictures to post tomorrow.

These images are from my first attempt at quilting.

I learn by doing so my lack of technical skill shows but I'd think in another ten or twelve quilts I might get the hang of it!!!! Still, I was happy enough with it for a first try and it does an excellent job of adding a little color to the living room while protecting the couch from the dog.
