My normally boring and quiet life has been just crazy these last couple of weeks. It started when a relative of Larry’s was hurt requiring surgery and 6 weeks of assistance/recuperation time. Since we are his only family we are caring for him and his pets which isn’t as simple as it sounds because of........ let’s just say.......complicating factors. At the same time Larry’s doctor switched some of his prescriptions throwing Larry into a seizure and necessitating more appointments and an MRI in addition to a temporary ban on his driving. All of that, mixed in with cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry, dressing, doctor and therapy appointments for our relative, has made things a little more stressful than normal. Thankfully Larry’s MRI was clean making 4 more weeks of nursing and errand running for others seem like small potatoes. Strange how the
Oh My God/What If, Heart Sinking Panic of Larry
(who is always healthy) facing illness was so much worse than watching a less close relation actually writhe in pain.
Any ways, I just wanted to post a quick hello to everyone, especially to Noah for missing me!
